JDRF
JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Our strength lies in our exclusive focus and singular influence on the worldwide effort to end T1D. Their mission is to Improve lives today and tomorrow by accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. We share in their vision of a world without type 1 diabetes, which is why we donate and walk for this cause! The Underwood Team has been an active sponsor dating back to the year 1998.
Austin Angels
The Austin Angels mission is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship. There are approximately 4,000 children and youth experiencing foster care across central Texas, and Austin Angels is building communities of people that are changing the experience for the better. We aim to be one of the passionate donors that adds ripples in the sea of change for the foster care community. The Underwood Team has been an active sponsor for the Austin Angels since 2020.
Dell Children’s Foundation
Each year, thousands of families in Central Texas receive the news no parent wants to hear—your child has a serious, life-threatening disease. For these families, the words that often follow are difficult: Your child’s best chance of survival lies elsewhere. Right now, care for patients in need of advanced, specialty care often means families have to juggle impractical and expensive long-distance travel or bi-city living for long periods of time. And these are the fortunate ones. For the 70% of Dell Children’s Medical Center patients who are un- or under-insured, life-saving care may be out of their reach. For this reason, Dell Children’s relies on support from the community to ensure their doors stay open and that no child is ever turned away regardless of their family’s ability to pay. We are proud to support Dell Children’s year after year. The Underwood Team has been an active sponsor since 2009.
National Center for Missing & Exploited Children®
NCMEC is the nation’s largest and most influential child protection organization. They lead the fight to protect children, creating vital resources for them and the people who keep them safe. We know that every donation helps to end child victimization, so we’ve made it our mission to donate - every child deserves a safe childhood. The Underwood Team has been an active sponsor since 2022.
