For those who have had the pleasure of knowing Nancy Jones, it is with heavy hearts that we must share the news of her passing. Nancy passed away very peacefully on Thursday, October 31st after a sudden and second bout of cancer.

Nancy was not just an esteemed Realtor®, Seniors Real Estate Specialist and member of the Underwood Team, but also mother to Christina Underwood and Jane Bachick, mother in law to Michael Underwood and friend to Lila, Mel and Jahnavi. Our team is truly a family, and Nancy made our team better. Each and every year, she led the charge on our team’s holiday philanthropic projects. She organized Adopt-a-Family gift drives, signed our team up to volunteer at the food bank, raised donations for families in need and wrapped & hand delivered presents. Nancy was always kind, giving and full of energy, and we were honored to follow in her footsteps. Although our team will never be the same, we will do our best to honor Nancy by continuing to serve others.

In addition to being a successful real estate agent, Nancy holds many other titles. Matriarch, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, MIL, aunt, niece, servant and friend. She was a devoted member and Eucharistic Minister of St. Austin’s Catholic Parish for many years, and President of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church up until the time of her death. Her faith was a source of strength for her, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand or listening ear to anyone in need of support.

Nancy accomplished so much in her lifetime, but it is evident that her top priorities were God and her family. She gave so much to her church and was always there for her kids, grandkids and siblings. It is easy to see why Nancy was fiercely loved by her family and friends, and she will be dearly missed.
